The cards were issued as pages of 9 cards stapled into the magazine, similar to the cards issued by Sports Illustrated for Kids, with perforations to make it easy to separate the cards. The 'Gold' versions were not gold foil, just printed in gold (yellow!) coloured ink. Hype Trading Cards partnered with each magazine to create special 1/1 editions in gold or platinum foil.
