The postcard was issued to celebrate a game at the Olympicstadion in Berlin between a Berlin XI and a London XI. The game took place on 18 November, 1953 and was the return fixture following the first game at Arsenal's Highbury Stadium on 11 March that same year. I've also included the cover of a programme from the same fixture.
